Excuse me for not reading through all 114 pages in this thread, but have CCP by now answered THE question yet, which is if they plan to sell non-vanity items in the NEX shop in the future?

Simple statement:
If by monday evening UTC I haven't seen a definite statement by a senior CCP representative that items in the NEX shop will be limited to vanity items only I'm gone from this game.
No drama, no rage, just describing my course of action.

Still hoping for the best but...
the deafening silence by CCP IMO can only mean one thing: non-vanity items in the NEX shop WILL come. They're just busy finding the "right" wording for it so as to make it sound totally awesome and fun and stuff...

I don't know what disappoints me more: CCP's obvious plans for the future or the totally incompetent and cowardly way they "manage" the current crisis.

I've pretty much given up hope that there will be an official statement that NO non-vanity items are planned for the NEx shop.
I'm still waiting, but am basically finished with EVE.

At first I honestly thought that we didn't get a reply because everyone at CCP was in emergency meetings to fix the situation.
By now it is my firm belief that the non-information is official CCP policy. "Let them rant on the forums for a couple of days, than start posting half-arsed statements mixing truth and lies as usual, but we won't change a thing about our plans. So what if 10.000 hardcore fans leave our game, the new players coming to Eve with Incarna/Ambulation will easily make up for the loss. And those new guys will love to buy items for Aurum to give them advantages."
